I think artistic expression is an important vehicle for learning and knowing. Audience and art become part of the life of an art work, invoking questions about meaning, always about relationships, whether formal or experiental. From a philosophical stance, I align my worldview with the notion of panpsychism: that consciousness and matter are inseparable, and that life emerges from all forms.
